Personal Background
Doug Hecker was born and raised in the Bay Area and has lived in Marin and Sonoma counties since 1971. Doug earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Sonoma State University where he graduated with distinction and was the editor of the student newspaper. Doug began a career in sales shortly after college and soon recognized that his passion for sales and real estate were an innate combination. Naturally sociable, Doug enjoys working with people, and shares a client’s joy when the perfect home is found.
